Martinique is a ST5 Trauma and Orthopaedic registrar.. She has an interest in arthroplasty and spine surgery. She studied at Malta Medical School, University of Malta, completing her foundation programme in Glasgow and core surgical training in Oxford. Martinique is currently undertaking a PhD at Imperial College London. Her PhD is focusing on optimising outcomes following patellofemoral joint replacements under the supervision of Mr A Liddle and Prof J Cobb for which she has won a research funding grant from Orthopaedic Research UK. She has also been awarded the British Association of Knee Surgeons Research Fellowship for 2023. Aside from research, she has designed a training performance app for orthopaedic registrars called Bone Sheet which is available on the App store and is currently being used by her peers.
